To answer the previous post, Anna Faris did attend the 2009 MTV Movie Awards last night! She looked absolutely gorgeous as she walked down the red carpet in a black dress. I’m so sorry for not updating this site for some time now! I’ve been very busy with other online- and offline duties. I’m here to tell you that things will change, and Adorable Anna will, once again, be your first stop for everything Anna Faris!
I’m also here to remind y’all that the annual MTV Movie Awards will be held in Los Angeles tonight, and that Anna might attend the show! She is, after all, nominated in several categories (let’s hope she wins!). If she attends the event, I’ll be posting lots and lots of photos from the red carpet and show. Stay tuned!
Mark Mylod has signed to direct What’s Your Number? Columbia’s romantic comedy starring Anna Faris. Beau Flynn and Tripp Vinson of Contrafilm are producing the pic, previously titled 20 Times a Lady.
What’s Your Number? centers on a woman who treks through her sexual past to find Mr. Right, exploring the idea of sexual quotas and whether such numbers matter.
Jennifer Crittenden and Gabrielle Allan wrote the script, based on Karyn Bosnak’s book.
Here’s a great story of how Anna’s fiancée Chris Pratt wanted to marry Anna after just a few dates. Check out the article, by PEOPLE, below!
Chivalry is not dead after all. Parks and Recreation’s Chris Pratt, who got engaged to actress Anna Faris late last year, knew she was The One immediately. “I knew I wanted to marry her pretty soon [after I met her,]” he told PEOPLE Thursday at the premiere for his new NBC series. “It took a while for me to admit it, because it would be crazy to be like, ‘I want to marry you’ the first day I met her. But I could have!” Pratt, 29, also explained that although he’s wearing a wedding band already, the couple have yet to tie the knot. “I just kind of wanted one,” he said. “She got one and I was like, ‘I want one!’ “
With Faris, 32, on hand to watch the series’ premiere live at Hollywood club MyHouse, Pratt said they plan to wed this summer. “We’re going to defy convention and not plan anything big,” he said. “We’re just going to go on vacation and come back married.”
In the meantime, Pratt is enjoying filming Parks and Recreation with cast members Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones and Aziz Ansari. “It’s the most fun work I’ve ever done,” he says. “It’s a hilarious cast.”
Entertainment Weekly has unveiled their 25 Funniest Women in Hollywood feature - and naturally Anna Faris is part of them! Along with a new photoshoot picture (click on the preview to the right to see it in full size) they wrote a short summary of why she’s funny. Check it out below!
ANNA FARIS
AGE: 32
CATCH HER IN: Observe and Report
SCHTICK: Blond ambition (see: exec-producer credit on House Bunny); blank-slate naïveté; willing to tumble for ya in countless loose-limbed pratfalls.
I just wanted to remind y’all to check out Observe and Report, as hit it US cinemas today! So far, it’s gotten a 59% rating on RottenTomatoes.com and received mixed reviews. It seems to be a love-or-hate movie. Anna herself has said that she loved it so take her advice and go see Observe and Report!
The film stars Anna Faris, Seth Rogen, Michael Peña, Aziz Ansari, Ray Liotta, Collette Wolfe and more. Synopsis below.
At the Forest Ridge Mall, head of security Ronnie Barnhardt patrols his jurisdiction with an iron fist, combating skateboarders, shoplifters and the occasional unruly customer while dreaming of the day when he can swap his flashlight for a badge and a gun. His delusions of grandeur are put to the test when the mall is struck by a flasher. Driven to protect and serve the mall and its patrons, Ronnie seizes the opportunity to showcase his underappreciated law enforcement talents on a grand scale, hoping his solution of this crime will earn a coveted spot at the police academy and the heart of his elusive dream girl Brandi, the hot make-up counter clerk who won’t give him the time of day. But his single-minded pursuit of glory launches a turf war with the equally competitive Detective Harrison of the Conway Police, and Ronnie is confronted with the challenge of not only catching the flasher, but getting him before the real cops do.
Yesterday, Anna went to the premiere party for the new TV-show Parks & Recreation to support fiancée Chris Pratt who’s acting in the comedy series. As reported yesterday, Anna attended the Los Angeles premiere of Observe and Report, looking stunning as she walked the red carpet. Although I’m not a fan of the dress, she looked absolutely radiant as she posed alone and next to co-stars Seth Rogen, Ray Liotta, Michael Peña, to name a few. Check out the first 214 pictures from the premiere!
